The event was described as "transformational" by students and teachers, and received national media coverage in Gulf Business, WAM, Gulf Today, and Zawya.
Alexia Hilbertidou, the founder of GirlBoss, led the event alongside a lineup of influential women. Together, they sparked big dreams and created a safe, powerful space for young women to lead.
Why It Matters
While the UAE is making incredible strides in gender equality and innovation, women remain underrepresented in many high-growth fields. ChangemakeHer events are designed to bridge that gap by:
-
Building students' confidence and career clarity
-
Showcasing inspiring female role models
-
Equipping girls with future-ready skills in STEM and leadership
-
Aligning with the UAE Vision 2031 to empower youth through knowledge and opportunity
